How do you tell someone you don't want to add them on facebook?
I am private and some people at work want me to add them. I don't have anything against them but when you add too many people then the more gossip you have to deal with. How can I tell someone no without hurting their feelings being that I chose to add some and others I did not. Any suggestions on things I can say?

You don't make an issue of it. You never need to explain yourself. You can always just say you got sidetracked when you added one person that you forgot to add another.

You can always say that the phone rang and you didn't get back to adding the folks whom you don't want to add.

You need to configure your Facebook page to only let "friends and family" view your wall and other Facebook activities.
