I acidentally signed up for 1 of those twitter things to get more followers, any way I can back out?

So I saw my friend getting all these followers and then he tweeted a link to getting them, STUPIDLY I signed up to and now I'm FOLLOWING like 300 people a day and only getting 30 FOLLOWERS back. And now my twitter feed is spammed with people sharing that link. Can I opt out?

I think there is a way to deactivate your account.
If not just never use it again.
I started like that but now I follow 600 people and have over 200 followers so you will get more followers with the more people you follow.

Change your password and Disconnect it From posting you can Do this From your Settings Page look on the actual site and see if it has a delete button on it or something
