Well, if you really want to show off yourself on Facebook, then post 1-2 pictures of yourself. If you don't want, simply don't post it.

You can upload your own photo , else any natural , cartoon or baby photos.
But don't upload any fake ( others photo) for your profile pic. |

Yes you can upload your pic on face book and there is an option that you want to show your publicaly or wanna keep it private, you can choose options according to your need..
