Macbook Pro Change? People who know a lot about these things only please.?
Okay. Sorry for such detailed explanation below and answers will be very appreciated.

It's been 4 years I want a macbook pro. Until 1 year ago, I got a macbook by surprise. But the thing is, it wasn't the one I wanted at all. I wanted a fifteen inch retina display (the best one) because I am a graphic designer and a gamer so retina is very important to me and the ram and storage as well. So by surprise... I got the worst one. The thirteen-inch with 4GB of RAM. At first I didn't care, but now that I'm really good at graphic designing and that I'm VERY into gaming, i'm starting to get pissed about my screen quality and my specs. So my brother has a macbook but his broke and he bought a new laptop, so he gave me his RAM and he had 8GB. But honestly, it's the screen that matters most for me I think. So 8GB is fine.. but whenever I open lets say Photoshop and After Effects with Final Cut Pro.. I barely have 2GB RAM or 1 when rendering and my mac becomes SUPER slow. Also, I have 2.5GHz with i5. My friend who has the 8GB 15" retina display, does the same things as me and honestly when he let me use his macbook for a bit I felt MUCH more comfortable on it.

Problem; Price.
I have to save up a big amount and spend it all for the MacBook, will it be worth it? I asked an Apple employee and he said it is definitely worth it... but he works there so I'm pretty sure he would say don't change... Please serious advice only.

You have answered yourself.... " I felt MUCH more comfortable on it". Few people who have used a Retina display will happily go back to a standard display.

If you're open to the Windows alternatives, the $1200 Lenovo y510p will give you MUCH better graphical performance than any Macbook, and offer a newer version of the i7. The MacBook you're looking for is $2200 or more, and offers limited gaming and visual design performance. For that price you can get the Razer Blade with sleek design and all around better specs except screen res. Do yourself a favor and jump ship Smile
