Why isn't it letting me delete my photos off instagram?

Why isn't it letting me delete my photos off instagram?
I have a mytouch 4g android and every time I try to delete a pic off instagram it doesn't let me, is there a reason for this or is there another way I can delete my photos?

They probably will have deleted, you must just wait for it to reload - close it for a minute and then re open x
