Accidentally poked my crush on Facebook?!?

My cousin and I have this poke war thing, and i had a notification saying that she had poked me. So, I pushed the notification button and it showed her name and poke back button on the side. I quickly clicked the button and it said you have now poked "....crushes name..."! How could this have happened! It had clearly said my cousin. And now I'm kinda freaking out. Because we are both in the same sport in high school, and I have him in all my classes on "A days". And we hardly talk. Should I send him a message saying it was an accident? or Just act like nothing ever happened. But, there will be that white elephant in the room. I'm just afraid he will think of me as a weirdo. Which I'm not

Poking literally means nothing. I wouldn't think anything of it and neither should you. Kinda ridiculous for you to be freaking out about it. If you send him a message about it, he will know right away you like him.

If I were you I would message him try & start a convo instead of just not doing anything talk to him so he doesn't think you're a weirdo & when you see him in class you should talk to him try a "hey how are you?" With a big smile & just go with the flow who knows maybe he likes you to! You can do it girl!

RELAX! It's not a big deal... in fact something good could come of it for you. if he "pokes" you back, or if he asks you about it, tell him the truth. You can use it as a way to break the ice and maybe get to know him a little.

If he doesn't acknowledge it (this may sound harsh, but i'm not going to sugarcoat it), he may either be too shy to talk to you or just not be into you.

Either way, it's not a big deal in the long run. Just cross your fingers that he acknowledges it!
