What is so special about 10.10.10?

I've been seeing in trending on twitter, and yesterday night i saw a really great looking celebration with ''10.10.10'' on this huge banner and i could hear a great band playing and there were bodyguards and paparazzi. It was like a party.

So what is 10.10.10. ?

I don't think its anything important. Just the 3 10s in a row. Just like when its was 6/6/06 & everyone was crazy.

There is nothing special about the date except for the symmetry. It's happened in the past (01/01/01 or 08/08/08) and will happen again on 11/11/11 and 12/12/12, then won't happen again until the pattern begins again on January 1, 2100.

It only comes 12 times a century. That makes it about 8 times more awesome than a birthday, plus it's the same time for everyone.
