How do I make facebook display in desktop mode on my tablet?

I was on my Windows Surface tablet when suddenly the facebook page reloads and appears in mobile mode. Not like the Iphone app but just m.facebook.com. This is very irritating cause facebook has been in desktop mode since I got this tablet and suddenly it says it will be a btter experience in this mode. It works fine on my google app but not my legit browser. How can I make t display in desktop mode? I tried deleting cookies and nothing hapened and all the help sites are fr android tablets.
