Can you use a facebook name that's not your real name?

So id like to try something smart for a change,but ive heard that the new rules doesnt allow names thats not your real name.For example i want to use a stylish,because our names sometimes are boring.I dont mean to use a real name thats not mine,just not an ordinary name and username.Is any new rules that disable that option?

I don't think you're supposed to, but really, how would they know? Unless someone reported you or something, I doubt FB could really figure out you're using a fake name. There's also an option to put in an "alternative" name, like a nickname, and it'll show up next to your real life in parentheses,
