what political party do i fall into(long story sorry about that)?

First let me start off by saying. that I am not involved in politics at all. I do not even plan on voting this year.

So the answers to this question will not really impact me very much I just would like to know this for the sake of knowing something new. If that makes any sense.
ps i do not really know all the aspects needed to formulate a full political ideology but i do believe that by giving my opinion on popular matters in politics may shed enough light to give me an accurate answer.

ok back to the topic at hand

my opinion on immigration.

people from other countries should be able to live in the united states. but they have to apply the right way. meaning don't sneak in here,trick the government etc. they have to follow the standard procedure to become a citizen no exceptions to anyone.

my opinion on taxes.

regardless of economic background. weather you are poor wealthy in the middle. everyone should have to pay the same percentage regardless. and taxes should never equate to anything more than 1/4th of the amount of money the person makes per year in order to promote economic growth amongst all people.

my opinion on financial assistance(welfare disability etc)

only people with severe physical/mental disabilities who are thus unable to work no matter what. should be allowed to have financial assistance to the point where they can afford what they need to survive without working. not lazy people without these massive disabilities. meaning if someone is very poor and physically/mentally able to preform these jobs and they have the basic education to get a blue collar job or other low ranking job that has minimal requirements. they should not be able to apply to these services. and if they decide not to get a job there after. then they should be left to die out then.

remember the rules social darwinism. the strong will survive and the weak shall perish.

my opinion on death sentence and other capitol punishment. i do not necessarily believe that every prisoner should have to be put to death. by that i mean the small time offenders shop lifters a person who has way to many speeding tickets etc. but people who commit the most grizzly and offensive crimes.

(murderers,pedophiles,rapist,people who live in america but have proven to be against us) those people deserve the death penalty for sure. however when taking the life of one of these sick people it should not be done on the spot. every possible piece of evidence/detail of the case itself should be analyzed thousands of times always reaching the same conclusion no matter what to ensure the people who are being called to death row are not somehow innocent or perhaps other people on the outside where involved but not caught etc.

my opinion on war fare.

i believe it is only acceptable for america to get into war only when a country has made it very clear that they wish to do us great harm.(in other words self defense) meaning we cant start wars with other countries unless they plan on posing an immediate threat to us. i don;t mean we should wait until they hurt us but once there is enough proof they wish to hurt us and it has been made clear by the opposing force as well. then fighting back will be needed.

my opinion on mass media/censor ship

given that the 1st amendment alone allows us the right to free speech. i think it is very wrong to edit/censor even potentially falsify information on the us based websites tv stations like the news.
regardless of the political affiliation with each owner of these stations.

and finally i believe regardless of each persons political belief. that both major parties(democratic/republican) are equally needed in order to run the country. and that neither political part should ever be able to have full power over the country because if you go to far on either political belief you get horrible end results

example

to many democratic beliefs=communism

to many republican beliefs=fascism

both of which are very destructive results and only really help benefit a select few people.

that being said i see my self politically speaking in the middle. because i tend to have democratic views on some topics and republican views on other topics.

but the point of this question is to find out how other people see me politically etc.

and no i do not ask this question for validation and acceptance as i said before i just would like to know this information for the sake of knowing something.

I would say you don't belong to either party. You've thought issues out for yourself, obviously you've been influenced by speakers of both sides. That makes you an independent.

Years ago, MOST people were independents. Between WWII and the late 1970s, political parties were less and less popular. More and more people were registering as independents, 'voting for the man, not the party'. Partisanship only came back in the late 1970s, really in the battle between Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.

I was around then, and paying attention. My own feeling is that it was the Republicans who brought back partisanship. The Repubs are now and have always been the minority party in terms of voter registrations nationwide. The way a minority party takes control is by exciting and energizing their base, getting them angry, getting them to the polls in bigger numbers. And today, you can see the GOP is all about party. When a Democrat is in the White House they refuse to cooperate with him, even for things they want themselves!

But the thing is, both our parties are almost irretrievably corrupt. They're both for sale to the highest bidder. We no longer have elections in this country, we have AUCTIONS.

So you have to examine the available choices and decide which is closest to your views. Until we can recapture the system again to work for The People, it will always be the least bad of bad choices, that's just how it is.
