When can you be fired for Facebook posts about your job?
For some reason, my husband recently decided to start complaining about his job and/or customers on Facebook. I have told him it is unprofessional and inappropriate, but he thinks I am overreacting. I am finding varied information on the Internet about whether you can be fired for it or not. Sometimes the posts aren't obvious complaints, such as, "I got yelled at over 17 cents," but he has made some comments about how customers can't read - these are the ones I am concerned about. I think if he's going to post those types of comments, he should remove where he works, though it's a small town so most people know anyway. I don't know how to bring up this subject, because he either gets mad or says I'm making a big deal out of it.

I'd stop if I were him. Very bad idea to do that. Been in the news before several times about people losing jobs over stupid shit like what he is doing.

It depends on the company. At Comcast someone got fired by talking bad about people in the company. I'm pretty sure he was posting these things in a meeting though.

Most employers will have some guidelines on what is acceptable for employees to share in public. You are right to be concerned such comments will not be received well by the employer and could well result in the loss of his job particularly if customers start complaining about the comments.
