I feel like a fruit - I cried when Steve Jobs died?
I can't remember the last time I cried.

When I heard the news of Steve Jobs' demise, I felt deeply moved. For years, I have mocked people who show emotion at the death of people they don't know - e.g. Princess Di.

When i went on to twitter, I saw the trending topic 'iDead" and laughed, momentarily, because it's sick. I then cried more.

I remember south park quote:
He later quit the group after realizing (from Butters) that its better to be sad and cheer up later then be a "phaggy goth kid".

Addition info: I am, possibly, a bit Aspergers.

My question: is there something wrong with me for crying? I think so. I am an atheist. I know he's just worm food. I don't believe in the spirit and all that jazz.

Yeah, it's pretty pathetic that you would cry for someone who did absolutely nothing for you personally. He didn't know or even like you.

I don't think there's anything wrong to feel pain when someone dies. I mean, you may have never known him personally, but still, it's not bad to care.

Just remember that even though people die. Love lives on.
And that my friend is why you still think of a person.

It's okay to have an inappropriate emotional response now and then, just don't make it a habit. You know who's not crying? Bill Gates. He won the game.

I understand why I felt a bit emotional too which is odd as I never knew although I am now typing on my macbook which I love but I think he was young well too young to die and at the top of his game also rich and yet nothing could save him it was his time and it is sad as it reminds us that our time will come too and the time of all those we love even if we know this well it is a sharp reminder
