Am i blocked on facebook?

Ive falled out with my ex a few months ago so he blocked me over facebook. It just came up with facebook user in replace of his name and no picture- whereas now its coming up with his name and a picture from his account. But his name is black (so it has no link on it) what does this mean? Also the picture i can see is a very recent one of him,
Its showing comments from 3 years ago which didnt show when he first blocked me a few months ago? and also when he first blocked me it didnt show his profile picture and it just said 'facebook user' though. so i can see more than when he first blocked me ..

If you can't click on it, then you're blocked, but it will still show a recent pic on comments he's made on something you've posted.
