For twitter notifications. Should I do it or no?

Should you invite a serial killer in your house?

It's never given me an issue, and the notifications work well. Twitter was created around a text message based service.

If you prefer, you could just activate push notifications in the iPhone or Android app, and that way you would not be giving them your phone number, and you could always modify your notifications settings right on the device.

I don't do that stuff on my email or Facebook because I don't want to get called. Also, Twitter probably passes info onto telemarketer who call you 24/7. I don't think there's any real danger, like stackers or serial killers, however.
