How to reconnect with a girl I barely knew over Facebook?

Okay, here's the deal guys: There was this girl that I knew back in high school and we graduated together in '09. We didn't even know each other too well back then but we have been Facebook friends. I just saw her profile and I was just kind a struck by her. She is not like out of this world hot to most people, I wouldn't think, but she is just super attractive to me for whatever reason.

Anyway, she is single and stuff and so I want to get her attention. Is there anyway I can like get her attention without sounding like some type of creepy weirdo that she barely knew in the past?? Or is it just a lost cause?

P.S. If it helps, I am not a bad looking guy or anything, and I don't necessarily think she is like out of my league.
