why cant i post a comment on facebook?

I tried to post a photo or comment on my sons fcebook page but the option on his profile doesnt exist. I looked on my other friends profiles and i can post because theres an option on the page but its missing from my sons profile.
I went into his settings and they are normal so not sure whats going on. Any help wold be appreciated
i confirmed that we are friends since 2 years ago and I was able to post on his wall up till beginning of the year. When I click his profile there is no post a comment or picture option there.It was there before but now its gone.

I went another route and tried to writ on his timeline but it says he doesnt allow people to post on their timeline. I have access to his account so how do i fix this so I can send him posts again. I like sending photos and funny you tube links but cant anymore

..you can only comment on profiles of people who are your friends...Are you and your son "friends" on Facebook?
