If someone blocks me on FB, can I still see them on apps?

I play a multi-player app (World Series of Poker.) I became really good friends with someone I played with on there, but he randomly blocked me on FB and removed me from his "poker buddies." I truthfully have no idea why, and I guess it doesn't really matter --

But will I still see him around the tables (hahaha) despite being blocked? I don't want any surprises!
