My Facebook account is fake?

I got a pop up in an app saying my Facebook was invalid or fake. I don't know why. I don't really use face book that much and only update it one or twice a week. But it is connected to an app that updates my account whenever I do something in the app and its constantly spamming links on it. Is this why? And is there any way to fix it?

If it was an actual issue Facebook would email or message you stating the problem. Go to settings and turn off notifications for that app and they'll stop.

Stop using that app. There are multiple facebook app which are promoting other businesses on facebook profiles. Remove it now.
