When i get a new phone and reinstall instagram, will my profile still be private or will i have to reset it?
I got a new phone and with my old phone, my instagram was set to private, but with my new phone, it was set so anyone could see my pictures. Is it because i had to reinstall instagram onto my new phone that it wasnt already private?

Sounds like when you installed it, the default was / is not set to be private. Just adjust your settings and all should be fine.
