how do I become more popular on Twitter,Wordpress, and Facebook?

How do I get more popular on my social network sites?
I have twitter,FB,Tumblr,and Wordpress but it seems no one is responding/
on any of my sites. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue would be great.

In addition- Im having releasing my 1st book this fall.Thanks in advance

You need to invest a little to get results, that are fruitful. You can invest in Facebook Ads, Google Adwords/Adsense for promoting your Wordpress site. Or you can hire some SEO specialist to do the trick for you.

If you are low on budget, then you can just simply use the "Spread the Word" trick. Ask your friends to tell their friends about the book on Facebook and then keep the chain intact. Give them a little preview of the book. Ask them to signup on a contact form to get some pre-release perks or an exclusive copy. Start some sort of a contest and create the necessary buzz.

For twitter, you can create a hashtag and ask all your friends to get updates about the book through it. Ask your friends to retweet all your tweets.

You can social bookmark all your activity. In addition you can make a trailer about your book, a 30 second one which is visually appealing. I suggest you to use Animoto for that purpose.
