How do I get to of a phone virus?

It seems my Instagram app on my iPhone 4 is where I began to notice the virus.

On Instagram, every time I follow anyone, the program closes and doesn't even follow the person.

I read that this could mean there's a possible virus on my phone.

So now, I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of it! If you know how, PLEASE help me!

I've already tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but it didn't make a difference.

Delete the app, and install it again

If its an iphone its not a virus, all code is reviewed before it can get in the appstore.

uninstall instagram.... reinstall it...

if the issue persists, do a complete factory restoral on itunes... all data on the phone will be wiped.....

if the issue persists,get a new phone

its not a virus click the home button 3 times then hold the line of apps at the bottom keep tapping the red - then open the app again if it dons't work check for a update if no updates are available delete it and re install it.
