Should I add people I don't know on facebook?

I don't recommend it, particularly if you have private info you don't want shared such as contact info, friends, and photos. If you are adding game players, create specific friend group for those people and restrict it to the max.

Well, that's your choice. But I don't add people that I don't know.
I only add friends, and family. I guess that's why I only have around 30 friends.

Not on a real Facebook account. Some people have fake Facebook profiles and they use that to add strangers.
