Random friend requests from people I don't know??

Okay so basically I tried to add this guy who is very famous on Facebook, he's into music. Well, he has a friend that he makes music with and on my page I said that his friend's music sucked basically. I had requested him as a friend and I don't know if he saw that status and decided to delete my friend request because of it, but I know he ignored my request because it says "add friend" again on his page. But the weird thing is, right after he deleted my request I started getting these random FB requests from people I don't even know. Like this guy all the way from Colorado tried to add me, and I messaged him saying "Do I know you?" he never responded back, then a week and a few days later I got another friend request but this time it was a girl from Colorado too, and I'm like why are they adding me??? So I messaged her asking "Do I know you?" and she never responded back either, and just now a few days from this last friend request I got another friend request and it was another girl from Colorado also who tried adding me, and I messaged her too asking if she knew me. None of them ever replied back to my messages. A reason why I thought it could of possibly been this guy is because on one of the one of the pages that tried to add me they had all of the same music interests as him, well almost all. But then again I think they could be real people because one of the pages has about 400 something friends, and the other page has about a thousand friends and I forgot how many friends the other page has. I still don't think it can be him because he is a very busy person and I don't think he has time to create fake pages and keep up with them. Plus if it was him, why would he delete my request and try to add me on a fake page??? That doesn't even make sense.

yeah it doesn't make sense but if you're getting tons of em go to your privacy settings and change who can search/add you as a friend. otherwise just forget about it
