Has anyone had this problem?

I can't respond to friend requests on facebook. It keeps saying "sorry, you can't respond to this friend request right now." It's been doing that for more then a week. Now I have 500 requests to respond to and I can't even respond. Any idea as to why this is happening? I even updated my phone and facebook as well and still nothing.

If you have 5000+ friends then you cannot respond but if u don't have then report this issue to facebook

Patience, young Jedi... it's likely you told Facebook that you didn't know some of your recent friend acquisitions outside of Facebook, or some of the people who accepted you as friend told Facebook they didn't know you outside of Facebook. It takes about 2-4 weeks for this to reset to where you can begin to accept new friends.
