For the same reasons why people do other stupid things. Stupid people rarely pay attention to social marketing campaigns.

What Mis said! lol....I can't think of another explanation for it....When i was in my late teens early 20's I used to go out many weekends and get smashed....i hated the rest of the week and looked forward to it it was a way of relaxing, releaving stress...i always hated myself the next morning and felt sick lol...It's too dangerous now out their at night when your out of your face...i wouldn't do it...i don't actualy drink at all now not even a glass at christmas......no reason for it, i never said right i'm not drinking anymorer it's just i have a family don't see the need to get drunk to have fun.

I wouldn't worry too much so long as nothing awfull happens to them while they are out drunk they will grow up and find other ways of having fun too.

We have all done it!

It is a well known fact that alcohol is physically and psychologically addictive.

Also, if you tell someone that they cannot have something they crave it even more! Having said that, if there were no laws then we would have anarchy!

Communism did a lot for the Christians in the long run because it caused them to want God more, the difficulties they had obtaining religious materials etc caused them to crave it more, and commit more of what they receive to memory before passing it on.
