Snapchat points and best friends?

So my boyfriends ex has been #1 on his best friends list. I told him that it bugged me, and he said he stopped chatting her. Low and behold, I was #1 on his list a few days later, and she was completely off. However, I checked again only a day later, and she is back to #1 - my boyfriend swears he only sent her 1 or 2 pics that day while he was at a concert, which he also sent to others. I find it odd that in a 24 hour span, she goes from completely off his list to #1, without hitting #2 or #3 on the way up. Do points have something to do with best friends? She does have more points than me. I don't know. I just dont want this to cause any more stress in our relationship.

Maybe he hadn't snapchatted anybody really, and lets say he snapchatted her again, and if she was the only one he snapchatted even if it wa slike twice or whatever its likely..
