How to create a facebook event and invite people not on my friends list?

I'm trying to create an event for a friend's Bachelorette party. She's allowed to know who is invited (as she has provided the guest list,) but she's not allowed to know any information about it. Basically I need to create an event, invite all the people on her guest list (many of whom I am not friends with, so facebook won't let me invite them,) all without her seeing any information.

I cannot invite people I'm not friends with.
I tried getting her to create the event with the guest list, but I can't seem to delete her as a guest for my private event.

Is there a way to do this?

No, you can't invite guests to an event you create if you're not FB friends with them.

Ask your friend for everyone's email and use evite or go the "old school" route and use paper invites.
