Has my Facebook been hacked?

I logged onto my Facebook today as I usually would but instead of my usual newsfeed it came up a strange layout and said my account had been reactivated and it would take a while to get back to normal. I had 4 friends two of which I knew, the other two were people I had deleted years ago and all my info was gone. I got worried and logged out then reloaded my log in page and logged it and everything was normal again.

Did I log onto a false site? and if so what should I do now?

Could be that you logged on through a phishing attack, which will try to look like facebook in order to collect your info. Best thing you can do is go to facebook directly--(https://www.facebook.com) don't click on a link, type it in yourself--and change your password immediately.
