This question may make no sense, but please answer!! About friending and recommendations?

Sooo........when you friend someone on Facebook, can you recommend (to that new friend) someone who you think they should friend?? Like, my friend told me to add these two guys, but I was too shy, and so she said she'd add them and recommend me. I thought she meant she'd tell them to add me, but then (and here's the complicated bit) I added some people I hardly know, but who are friends with these two people that I am too shy to add. Then, in the section that says "people you may know" or something like that, it kept coming up with the names of these two people...so I don't know if our mutual friends recommended them to me through pressing a button or something???


So, long story short:
Is there a button you can press or something to recommend people to others?? Or is it just coincidence??

Yes, you can. I believe it only comes up in a pop-up though.

Yes , there is , go to your friends profile , hover the mouse on the "friends" button at the top (it has a check mark on it) and click "suggest friends" , then you'll get a list of all your friends, click on "suggest friend" and theyll get your suggestion as if it is a friend request (if that actually makes sense to you) and they could add the person , hope this helped
