No it shouldn't happen because it its rule... if it does Facebook is not an safe internet website.. But it could like if the police tried to search U up...ok maybe not ok not sure Smile

The correct question would be "are they still YOUR pictures once you GIVE them to Facebook by uploading them on their servers?"

The way Facebook works is entirely based on people's willingness to give them information: statuses, likes, pictures, comments, friendships. If you don't want something to be misused on the Internet, you should not voluntarily put it on the Internet in the first place.

They cannot sell your pictures however they can share your personal information with other companies. I know that Instagram can sell your pictures to other sites. The anonymous hackers was threatening to take down Facebook because they changed their terms and conditions saying you're signing a contract in which they can share your personal information with. But it never happened.
