What to reply when someone on social media sites asks for your travel vacation dates?
I posted on my facebook about a vacation to Hawaii that I booked for September, which is still a ways away, and I am not really one to brag or post these things so now I am being asked WHEN I am going. What do I respond without giving specific dates? I'm one of those cautious people who doesn't want the public to know when the house will be empty, but at the same time dont want to come off as a liar. lol HELP??

Never ever post about a vacation beforehand. I don't even talk about any to friends.
Now you're kinda stuck, so just don't respond. Ads |

Agreed, you're kinda stuck now. You can repost and say you moved the day or cancelled the trip. It is always best NOT to post about your vacation or dates you're gone. If you want to post it, then you should organize your friends accordingly and only post to that group. I would definitely talk with a neighbor and ask them to watch your house or even have someone come by and just make it appear you are home.
Good luck, take care |
