How do you add friends on Facebook without having other people see it?

I don't want my new friend activity to show up on anyone's timeline or newsfeed. Where can I find the privacy setting for this?

If you go into privacy setting you can control everything on your page. You can also hide your friends list from everyone. No one can see who my friends are at any time. I have my page locked down like fort know. lol

simply add the new person or friends in new list
and make the list private.
actually in facebook all friends are add automatically to the specified list.
like school name list/ city name list .

So simply add the friends and any new girl friends in private or restricted list
