Can't leave facebook conversation?

Can't leave facebook conversation?
So I press leave conversation and it to me it says I have left the conversation and it goes off my message list and stuff, but no one else can see I have left and anytime someone sends a new message I get it aswell as if I never left - anyone know how I can actually leave?? Thanks.
