Facebook posts stuck on "only me"?

Posts by other people up till 2012 are fine, but posts by other people before 2012 are stuck on "only me". I checked all my settings and I can't figure out what is wrong.

For the old posts (2008-2010), when I click "only me", it will not let me change anything. They are showing up on my timeline, but of course only I can see them.

Anyone know how I can reset these to "friends"? I do have my "photos tagged of me" as private, but that should not effect the posts by other people. (I am able to alter the posts by me, it's just the ones by other people that are stuck, and I know they did not set them to be "only me" with their own settings)

go to https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=p...ivacy_lite
this will take you straight to the privacy setting
in " who can see my stuff "
who can see future post : put it to friends
limit the audience ... : click " Limit past posts
this will change the setting of all past post to same now which is "Friends"
