Hello, I have a facebook as well as my dad and he called me over the phone saying he wants to add me. he been trying to this for a long time and i know. I actually had him blocked so he dnt find me but he found me first before i blocked him (I deleted his friend request) i want to know if theres a way i can change my settings so no one can see my pictures even my friends on there. I used to not want to add my parents on facebook either, I got over that and realized how dumb it was. Think about it, they're your parents, without them you don't exist, they raised you, and are there to stay, having a dad doesn't make you any less cool, in fact, we all have dads, whether alive or dead, I have my dad added on facebook and it doesn't make me any less cool, my friends have their dads on facebook, and if it's privacy you're worried about, he's your dad, he'll understand you don't want him to butt in, accept your Dad's friend request, as one day you will no longer have him by your side.

You do not have to add him if you do not want to - I only have my mum on my Facebook. My dad keeps stalking my cousin on Facebook.

Just tell your dad that you prefer to talk to him face to face and that's there no need to add each other as you both live in the one house and see each other.
You could add him and change your settings to whom you want to share things with like if you have family list then best friends list, you could click share with best friends list only.
