The most powerful type of sales always has been referral marketing. Social media marketing is simply the electronic version of referral marketing. The site below even states that 82% of businesses are projecting increasing their social media budgets over the next couple of years. I don't see social media being replaced. I do project that more emphasis will be put on video marketing though.
