How can I prove that police using social media is justified and NOT invasive?
This is my research essay. One of my paragraphs will explain that it is justified because of how important it is in police investigations. (Particularly for teenagers and young adults)

But that is all I can think of. Could I say that it is justified because the internet is PUBLIC and people can access ANYTHING? If so, how can I prove that?

It can never be invasive if the information is found on a public site and readily available for all to see.
The police have a far reaching authority to investigate if they suspect a crime
