Can people track down my facebook?

In a facebook group, a bunch of people are bullying someone. And whoever fights back gets "bullied" too. I would like to make a "fake" fb to stand up for someone, but if they find out who I am, it won't be pretty for me.

If I make a completely fresh fb under a new name, will people find out who I am? What about page admins?

I mean the admin of the group. and it's not to the extent at all that police would get involved.

If you don't have any real personal information on there it's impossible for them to find out it's really you.

If you lie about everything , NO. But, when i made my account, it asked for an email. So, if it still does and u supply your email and you don't know how to hide your email from others on facebook, they may find out that way. So, you better create new email too.
Better idea would be to ask your friend to leave the group. Otherwise, its pretty difficult for you too. Coz, even if you make a fake account, and the group admin don't recognize you, it is possible that they won't let you into the group at all if the group is closed, and if you add the people you know, it won't be anonymous. Anyway, these are only practical problems i wanted to give you a heads up about. But, if you decide to really do that, it shouldn't be a problem if they don't recognize you by email.
Also, you can complain about bulleys to facebook you know. good luck!
