and McCain would suggest you invest your own money?

Easy to say when the market is down. Harder to say when the market over time performs a whole lot better than the return you get on investment in Social Security.

I grew up in the seventies and will be among the first group of people to have social security run out, so to me, your question is moot.

McCain and Palin will invest your social security to stock market. at least half of social security will be privatize.. Wait and see when they get the white house.

I would rather take my chances with the stock market. I might lose some money over the short term but long term I will be better off. I will never see a dime of the money I have invested in the social securty ponzie scheme.
