I deleted alot of my friends from facebook?

2 years ago I had like 500 friends and really bad anxiety when i posted things to facebook so decided to do a massive sweep of my friends list. Now i just graduated from highschool and i occasionally come across a few profiles and think "What was i thinking? why were they deleted, they were actually kind of my friends"
I really want to refriend quite a few of them and although i know they will accept im not sure if they will ever forgive me, if you know what i mean.
What should i do?

It's Facebook and 500 friends,chances are they won't remember!If you must say something say you didn't mean to.

just refriend them. the worst they can do is not accept the friend request. Social media sites are kind of like a plaque lol but seriously it doesn't hurt to try right? you will never know if you don't try. And you just have to try to explain to them and hope that they will understand why you did it and that you had bad anxiety chances are if they don't understand then they really weren't that good of friends

Just Friend Them and if They Ask Why you Unfriended them Tell Them You Made a Error In Doing So
