How to make my Original Character facebook page famous?
I want to make a Facebook page for an original character to role play and stuff, it seems really fun to roleplay but the more popular pages won't roleplay or reply to not popular ones like me. My friend has an OC page with over 15,800 likes and she's had it for a year and a half so I can tell it takes time. I've tried creating several OC pages on fb but failing miserably since they get only 1 like with about a week's effort. I go on everyday and say hi to other pages. My friend says I'm pathetic that I have such little likes. I thought if I got a certain amount of likes it would be easier and faster to get even more likes than just one. *sigh* What could I be doing wrong? Btw I don't really want those fake account free like hacks since I want to engage with my likers. My goal is getting 500 likes from nothing by January.. Is that goal to high? Could I have some tips on how to get more likes such as how to get the name out and engage and also how long it would take to get 500 likes? It's a naruto based oc if that makes a difference... thankyou Smile

Hello there! You remind me of myself :'D I had a Facebook page for my Naruto OC too! I had my page for about 6-7 months, but only got 600 or so likes. :c I deleted it though, because it was distracting me from school and stuff xD When I first started my page, I was exactly like you. I didn't know what to do, how to get famous/get more likes, or anything. So I can totally understand.

I first started out talking to other Naruto OC pages that had about the same amount of likes as I did or a couple hundred more and that were really active. Become their friends! The more friends you have, the better. Ask them to share you page as well. That's how I got most of my likes! Just don't go sharing your page on other people's pages asking them to share you. People don't like that. :/

Also, if you're not afraid to do so, interact with really popular pages that are willing to talk to their fans. Comment on you "friend's" page. Try to draw attention to her fans towards you - like being funny or so. Her fans will notice you and would like to see your page! And possibly like!

Don't forget to try to make your page look "professional." Have lots of pictures, have a good bio, fill out everything on the information thingy! (But don't make your OC a Mary-Sue! Fans wont like that!) The more filled up it is, the better! It makes your page look better and professional. Also try to update your stuff like profile pictures and cover photo! Don't keep it the same... It'll make it kinda boring.

But last of all~ Be patient. I know it's hard not to be jealous of other people's amounts of likes. I KNOW! IT'S HARD! xD I don't know how your friend managed to get almost 16,000 likes in a year and a half though... I have never seen an OC page that had that many likes. The most I've seen is like... 7,000 likes o.o I think 500 likes in 4 months is a little too high. If your goal is too high, and you fail, it will hurt you more. Try going for about 200-300 likes. It sounds more reasonable! And if you make it by January, you'll be super duper happy! (Because I know you will Big Grin) You'll get to 500 likes soon, you just have to be patient!

So yeahh... These are just some of my tips from my Facebook page experience Smile Idk if it'll actually work though... xD But I hope you become successful! Good luck! Big Grin
