Media is technically public. Network can be limited to only ppl with access.

Social Media: YouTube.com Flicker... Photobuket... 4chan... etc... This one is for media like sharing pictures, videos, music.
Social Network: Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc... This one is for connecting with people, make new friends, new connections. |
