Someone hacked my facebook account?!?
When I was doing my monthly security check on my Facebook account, I noticed that someone from New Jersey was logged into my account, I haven't been in New Jersey in 2 years, so it wasn't me. I changed the password for my account, but I am afraid that the person might have read my messages and got the passwords for my apps. I have some very personal messages and for the apps, I changed their passwords. But I'm worried that they might hack into my account again, as someone in New Jersey had also logged into my account previously before and posted weird stuff on my friends' walls. Is there any other security measures that I can make???

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

P.S. I have ended the activity session of that person from NJ.

Since you've changed your password that should be enough but to be sure run a virus scan to see if you have anything that may be harmful to your computer as someone may have put a RAT, a type of virus, on your computer.

Did you contact Facebook about the hacked account? That should have been your first step. https://www.facebook.com/hacked‎ if you haven't contacted them already. You also need to block the person who used your account from viewing your account. You should never save application passwords for your apps within your Facebook account. You also need to make your password a minimum of 12 characters and use lower case and upper case letters and numbers in your password, and select a different password for each account.

The only thing you can do is change your password every couple months and once a week log on and see if any activity has took place.
