How to tell if someone is fake on facebook?

I have this friend on facebook. He said he is about my age but somethings don't add up. He is gay and he posted pictures of him and his boyfriend but I copied the pictures and searched them on google and it showed that he change the picture like the persons hair color. I told him and he said since he doesnt get to see his boyfriend he puts fake picture up to make him feel better. I searched his other pictures he posted of just him and none of them showed up on google...so he must be real. And his boyfriends facebook account show pics of him and its definitely not fake pictures. He is also friends with my friends not all but a few...is he real or not. I also ask if we can talk on the phone or Skype and he always says he is busy with work. He is only 15 and he says he works for warped tour as a pit reporter. What do you guys think?
