facebook hiding is now friends with?
OK I've looked around and I've posted a question before and every answer I find is to do with hiding my friends list from someone or preventing people from seeing things on my timeline.
To paint a picture my girlfriend is one of the jealous types and i get 20 questions every time I friend someone new one facebook. What I want to know is, is it possible to prevent the message "...is now friends with ..." from appearing on her news feed. basically when she picks up her phone and scrolls through the list of things people have done and posted I don't want it to appear. I've tried a few things and I've prevented it from appearing on my timeline but that didn't change anything.
any help is much appreciated.

Just a thought, what if I block her from seeing my friends list, add someone then unblock her.

no, that wont work

it sounds to me like you need to get a new girlfriend instead

if you block her, she will be removed from your friends list

if all you do is hide your friends list from her, as soon as you unhide it from her, she will be able to see everyone you added while it was hidden

stop trying to be sneaky on facebook - it doesnt work

eventually one of those new friends you add will like or comment on something on your timeline, and she'll see that too, and the questions will continue

so, see my first sentence for the best solution to your problem

1) Click on your name on the top right of the page next to "Find Friends."
2) Click "Activity Log" on the right side of your cover page (Blank cover page if you haven't set one.)
3) On the left where it says "Photos," "Likes," and "Comments," click "MORE."
4) Click "Friends."
5) Your stories about "... is now friends with ..." will show up here.
6) Click on the pencil on the right side of the story you want to hide.
7) Click "Hidden from timeline."

Do this for friend requests you want to hide.

Another option is to just be honest with your girlfriend and tell her about the girls you're adding on Facebook. It may bring more stress initially, but in the long run, she can learn to be less jealous, hopefully.
