Why do I feel very sad when I'm on Facebook?
Every time I'm on Facebook, when i just scroll down, and down..i get sad, then sadder. Why is that? Is it that i see other people going places? being happy? Why does this happen now? It never bothered me before! My boyfriend works in the morning's (since it's summer i have nothing to do, college around the corner and i get bored) in the morning's and Facebook is the only thing i can cheek.

Maybe it's because you see people having so much fun in summer and you aren't. i I feel the same way. I work so I never get time to hang out with my friends. I think you should find find something else to do in the mornings rather than always going to fb. It seems that your getting bored of fb. Try new things. Like may be go jogging or go shoot some hoops. Or watch a nice movie or your favorite tv show Wink

It's probably because people make their lives seem like so much fun and full of happiness. It's just on Facebook. Off of Facebook they probably are in debt, have a dying relative etc. Things on Facebook aren't always what they seem.

Definitely, spend less time on Facebook. The same people post over and over again on Facebook in an attempt to say "look at me" and "I am living the dream", when in reality they are spending their time on Facebook and not enjoying their lives. Facebook is very odd. I feel the same way. I see friends on amazing trips and I feel bad that my life isn't more interesting. I find I am much happier only looking at facebook once in a blue moon.

There are so many cool things to visit online that I recommend you focus on things that either entertain or teach you something. Since you are getting ready to go back to school, maybe try doing a little research on what your studying? Or do more career research? Or read a book offline? Or exercise and read?

Do whatever makes you feel good about yourself and don't worry about those people wasting their time on Facebook. Not sure why people feel compelled to show and tell so much on facebook, but they do.

Good luck
