Do I have a virus on facebook?
My facebook sends smiles and sometimes links to my friends without me wanting or writing them. Sometimes it sends when i'm offline. Is it a virus? How do I get rid of it?

This is not a virus. This is the result of someone/thing getting a hold of you Facebook log in information and logging in without your permission. The best way to fix this is to change you password and security questions if you have them set. To prevent this in the future: never leave yourself logged in, never connect through an unsecured connection, and never log in to Facebook through a site other than Facebook itself.

It could be caused by any third party Facebook game / application linked to your Facebook account.
Go into your settings > Apps then remove access to Facebook applications, you no longer use, that are linked. |

When logged on to Facebook click the settings wheel click account settings then on the left click security then go down to recognized devices and it will show all devices the have logged on to your facebook if there are any you don't recognize you can delete it. Do this before you change your password. Hope it helps
