why is facebook taking so much memory that I can't use facebook?

I used to enjoy facebook. But now when I log in, it just downloads and downloads and ends up not working because it takes up too much memory.

So, I'm guessing this is mobile? and it is updating.
If this is the case then you either need to increase your overall storage capacity or simply delete any unwanted files or apps.

If it is on PC, It may be a slow internet connection.
