Is it safe to log on facebook on a school computer?
I have In school suspension tomorrow and we can access facebook using https://facebook.com But i want to no if its ok to type in my email and password on a school computer. The teacher likes me and just lets me stay on the computer all day because i never get any work. Is it ok to type in my info?

well for basic security purposes, make sure when you login, you don't click the save password option

but you never know which computer have software to monitor people

I say don't risk it. There are VERY easy ways tohack into your fb from an open internet server.

This really depends. Many schools (mine being one) had key logging software that kept track of keystrokes. Certain key words would stand out if typed and the school would know which user typed what. So, if you can already get onto facebook without getting in trouble, you should be fine typing in your credentials.

If you're unsure if you school has key logging software, type parts of the web address at different times so that it won't stand out in the software.

It also may be that your school restricts or watches over websites that they don't want students on. If that is the case, you're sort of screwed. Ask your cool teacher, he should be able to tell you what resources the school has.

Yeah but clear the history and make sure the computer doesn&#x27;t save the password. Hit never remember password for this site.

Well you're pretty much logging into a public network server. So the best thing to do is not to save your password or email, and make sure you clear the history so someone wont jack up your facebook account
