if i read someones facebook message by email notification will it still say that i read their message?

ok so I have it set so that I get an email when someone sends me a message on facebook. if I see their message on the email (it doesn't take me to the facebook page or anything it just shows it in the email) will the message show up on the other persons screen as "seen"? I don't wanna check facebook because I don't want this person to know I read his message.

No, it won't show that you've read it.

It will only show if you actually click on his message within Facebook itself.
